Travel through Walker County on Highway 27 was brought to a stand-still on Thursday afternoon when a truck with an over-sized load took out some power lines in the Noble Community.  All five lanes of Highway 27 were closed for a time and power crews were working well into the evening on Thursday to fix the problems caused when the truck snatched down power lines.  The power was out for a small period of time in Noble and Rock Spring due to the accident.
