In basketball this past weekend weekend, Trion's men and ladies teams came out victorious on Friday but both were defeated on Saturday. In games against Lafayette on Friday, the Lady Dogs won 43-42, with the men also taking the Ramblers 69-52. That all changed on Saturday against Adairsville with the Lady Bulldogs being defeated 42-30 and the men 64-53.
 
Wrestling went 3 – 2 Saturday at the Panther Invitational at Ridgeland High School.
 
This week Trion will be wrestling against Cedartown and Pepperell in Cedartown on Tuesday and hosting Ridgeland, Coosa, and Gordon Central on Friday.
 
Basketball is at North Paulding on Friday.  JV Boys, Varsity Girls and Boys will play.  JV boys start at 4:30 pm.  All JV and Varsity teams will play at Lafayette on Saturday starting at 4:00 pm with the JV Girls.
