The Trion boys tennis team advanced to the Elite Eight on Wednesday in their chase to the 2021 State Championship. The team traveled to Lake Oconee where they picked up the 3-2 win.

Both doubles teams, Cole Cavin and Isaac Stewart and, Jeremiah Cochran and Jack Weaver, come out victorious. 1st and 2nd singles, James Willingham and Logan Pinion, lost their matches, leaving the remaining match a tie breaker.

Senior, Seth Wilson at 3rd singles pulled out a 2 match victory, advancing the Bulldogs to the Elite Eight.

The next round of the playoffs will be held at Trion, with the Bulldogs hosting Telfair County. The exact date and time is TBA.
