The 2013 high school football season is just around the corner and things will get started early here in Chattooga County.  Next Friday night, the Trion Bulldogs and Chattooga Indians will square off in their 5th annual preseason scrimmage.  This year the scrimmage will take place at Sam R. McCain Stadium in Trion.  Although the two schools have not played a regular season game against each other since 1971, local football fans always pack the stands for this contest despite being played as a scrimmage format.

Join Ben Groce, Jeremy Burke, Robert Beach and Ken Bruce beginning at 6:45 for live pregame coverage from the stadium with kickoff to follow at 7:30.   As always, AM 1180 will broadcast all Trion and Chattooga football games this year.  We will feature one team every week for the radio game while both teams will have their games broadcast live online at www.chattoogainfo.com.  Remember you can also listen on your I-Phone or Android device.  The broadcast links for each team will be posted on our home page before the regular season starts on August 30th.  After each game, be sure to tune in to the scoreboard show with Jody McCauley for all of the updated scores from around northwest Georgia.  When it comes to high school football in Chattooga County, AM 1180 has got you covered!
