On October 3, 2018, teacher and FBLA adviser Mrs. Jennifer Patterson took her third level students and FBLA members to Rome, Georgia to attend the FBLA Rome Rally.The first part of the Rally was held at Model High School. Four different colleges were present to speak to the students about their various colleges.Then, the students attended the opening ceremony. During this, Dalton State, and Georgia Northwestern, spoke with students about the business programs they offered. Next, each school in attendance was able to participate in different team-building activities. Trion won 2 out of 4 of these events.Finally, the students listened to FCA leader Kent Howard’s talk, “Leadership in Today’s World: Lead Like a Shepherd.”After the opening series, students were dismissed to the Coosa Valley Fair, where they were able to enjoy the various attractions offered.
