The first ever Trion Fire Department Community day raised enough money to purchase new PPE for the fire department and its volunteers.

According to the Trion Fire Department, new personal protective equipment was purchased with a portion of the proceeds raised during the Community day. These items include 3 pairs of Globe Supreme 14″ pull on leather boots, 4 pair of Holik US pro gloves, 6 pair of Fire craft phoenix gloves, 7 majestic fire apparel nomex, and 7 glowear high visibility apparel safety vest.

The Trion Fire Department stated on their Facebook page that, “We must go beyond all measures to ensure that our firefighters have the proper equipment to protect and serve our community. One again we would like to send a heartfelt thanks to each supporter of Trion Fire.”
