WHEN YOU HEAR THE BEEP, GET OUT OF THE HEAT, is the motto Trion Fire Department wants you to remember. Trion Fire Department will be hosting their 1st Annual Everyone Gets Out event.

The Trion Fire Department will be holding, what they hope to be an annual event, titled Everyone Gets Out. This event will raise money to purchase and install smoke alarms for residents. This event will be held Sunday, January 17th.  Per the Trion Fire Department Facebook page:

Firefighters will hold a boot drive that will start at 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Central Ave and Allgood Street in Trion at the red light. This will be followed by a car show at Trion track field, from 12p.m. to 2p.m. To enter a car, firefighters ask for a simple donation in any amount you feel comfortable giving and to show up around 11:15. There will be an award for people’s choice and firefighters choice. All donations will purchase new smoke alarms. All smoke alarms that are purchased or donated will be installed free of charge for any resident. Anyone that wants to make a donation of any amount or smoke alarms please feel free to at any time.
