Four Trion Firefighters were recognized for life saving actions by their department recently at a Christmas dinner held at Sweet P’s at the Tavern in Trion.

The firefighters recognized received Life Saving Valor Awards for their life saving actions. Congratulations to Chief Justin Lowe, Assitant Chief David Lowe, Administrative Captain Brannon Martin, and Captain Justin Cannon.

The Trion Fire Department Firefighter of the Year recipient was Administrative Captain Brannon Martin.

The Trion Fire Department stated, “We would like to thank council members Mickey McGraw, Don Harris, and Becky McWhorter for attending and showing their support. We would also like to thank Probate Judge Gary Woods, State Court Judge Jon Dennis and Andy Hames from Hames Industrial for attending tonight’s event and showing their support.”
