High School Bass Fishing Team Takes Off – written by Miriam Otting

Last Saturday the Trion High School Bass Fishing Team took part in the largest bass fishing tournament ever held in the state of Tennessee. Tyler Pickle and Hunter Bradley weighed in 6.7 pounds meanwhile Cody Conner and Landyn Durham weighed in 6 pounds.

These two teams placed in the top 50 out of 240 boats.

The team will also be making an appearance at the Summerville Outdoor Expo which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 23rd and 24th – at the Chattooga County Agricultural Center – located on 34 Middle School Road.

They will have a Kid’s Activity Booth, and will be talking about the North West Georgia High School Association. The team has five remaining tournaments this season.
