A twenty-eight-year-old Trion man was arrested on drug charges in LaFayette this week.

LaFayette Police made a traffic stop at the West Main Street Circle K after on officer saw the vehicle leave the proper lane of travel.  The officer then discovered the driver had suspended driver’s license, an expired tag and there was no insurance on the vehicle that he was driving.

While arresting the driver, officers found a small weight scale that tested positive for methamphetamine in the man’s pants pocket.

Austin Reed Bledsoe was arrested and taken to jail on multiple driving violations and drug charges.
