A Chattooga County Sheriff's Deputy was hit several times in the face while trying to subdue two brothers who were fighting.  According to the incident report, Deputy Gary Cambell  was called to 222 Elsie Street, Trion, to stop a fight between two brothers, Fred and Ronnie Wilson. Initially Campbell reported that he found both brothers outside and upset. The brothers would not say why they were fighting, according to the report. Campell wrote that he noticed that Fred Wilson was getting louder, tumultuous and angry that officers were not leaving as he wanted them to. According to the report, it was  determined that Fred Wilson was the primary aggressor and as Campbell approached Fred Wilson, the man started to back away from Campell.   Campbell reportedly  reached out to get control of Fred Wilson when the man reportedly put his hands up toward Campbell several times striking the deputy in the face with slight glancing blows.Fred Wilson was restrained and arrested for obstruction of an officer and disorderly conduct.
