A Trion man reported to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department that while standing in McDonald's he was attacked by another man.

 

According to the report, the man was standing by the drink machine, when the other man, a Summerville resident, came in cursing and yelling at him. The man then reportedly began hitting him. knocking him into the drink machine. Witnesses corroborated the story, who said that the aggressor also yelled racial slurs at the man in front of his six-year-old son. 

 

Several more punches reportedly were thrown and the aggressor reportedly left in a car with two other men. The complainant had visible bruising and swelling to both sides of his forehead, according to the police report. The incident reportedly concerned a woman.
