Only one other nearby high school even came close to Trion School's recent ranking at 25 out of 38 Best High Schools in Georgia by US News & World Report.

Trion ranked above the state average in college readiness at 24.1 as well as in math and English proficiency at 3.8 and 3.7 respectively. The only other high school in the area that even came close to Trion's score was Rome High School which was ranked 31 with a college readiness score of 20.4, and math and English proficiency scores at 3.4 and 3.5 respectively.

The list didn't rank more than 400 other Georgia schools but did include their statistics. The list included the number of students and teachers, college readiness as well as math and English proficiency. 

Model, Armuchee, Gordon Lee and Chattooga were all unranked. 

Gordon Lee scored a 19.7 in college readiness, with a 3.5 in Math and 3.7 in college proficiency and 18:1 student teacher ratio. 

Model scored a 9.1 in college readiness, with a 3.4 in both math and English Proficiency, and 16:1 student/teacher ratio.

Armuchee scored a  7.3 in college readiness with a 3.5 in both math and English proficiency and a 15:1 student/teacher radio.

Chattooga High came in far below the state average with a 5.6 in the college readiness; 3.3 in both Math and English Proficiency;  and 14:1 in student/teacher ratio.  

Nationwide Trion came in 1400 with Rome High ranking 1,679. The other schools did not make the ranking.
