The Trion Recreation Department has announced sign-ups are underway for Spring Sports, including soccer, baseball, and softball.

The Trion Recreation Department announces sign-ups for the 2021 Baseball and Softball season. The Trion Rec. will associate with Dizzy Dean in baseball and GRPA in softball. Sign-ups will begin Monday, Jan. 25 and end on Saturday, Feb. 20. Ages are 5 through 12. September 1st is the age control date for all softball. The age control date for 5&6(Co-Ed), 7&8, 9&10 and 11&12 boys’ baseball is May 1st. Categories offered this year include 5&6 Farm League(co-ed) coach pitch, 7&8 Farm League Boys coach pitch, 7&8 Farm League Girls coach pitch, 9&10 Minor Boys live arm, 9&10 Minor Girls pitching machine, 11&12 Freshman Boys and 12U Live Arm Girls Softball.
Tot-Ball, ages 3&4 will sign-up March 1st– 13th .
Participants will not be allowed to sign-up for softball/baseball if they have not returned Trion Recreation uniforms or equipment.
The Trion Recreation Department will conduct Co-Ed Soccer Registration beginning Monday, Jan. 25th through Saturday, Feb 20th. Age groups offered are 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. These youngsters will participate in the North Ga. Soccer Leagues. Participation fees are $25 for county residents and no cost for those who reside in the Trion City limits.
Age control date is September 1st. This means that the potential participant must be 7 years of age before September 1st. 2021.
A copy of the child’s birth certificate is required upon registration if there is not one on file at the Trion Recreation Department.
