A Trion resident was involved in an accident in Floyd County Friday which required that both he and his passenger be taken to Redmond Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. According to Floyd County police, the wreck occurred after a Floyd County resident struck the rear of a late model Ford Contour driven by Trion resident Castillo Luna Joaquin. Joaquin, along with his passenger Guzman Gerardo Perez, of a Dalton address, were taken to the hospital after complaining of neck and back pain. The Floyd resident was treated by EMS at the scene.
