Trion City School Superintendent Phil Williams announced that Trion Schools will be closed for students on Thursday due to the anticipated tropical storm.

Williams said, “Due to the National Weather Service issuing a Tropical Storm Warning for Chattooga County, Trion City Schools will be closed for students tomorrow, October 29.  Teachers and staff are expected to report at 10 AM if weather conditions are favorable.  An announcement will be made bat 8 AM Thursday morning regarding teachers reporting at 10 AM.  Stay tuned to the weather and be safe.”
