The American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief is an unprecedented $1.9 trillion package of federal assistance measures, including $122 billion for the ARP Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund.
School systems may use ESSER funds for personal protective equipment (PPE), cleaning and sanitizing materials, and similar supplies necessary to maintain school operations during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Trion City Schools would like to announce the public reviewing of the system’s proposed American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Plan (ARP-ESSER) and supporting budget. A copy of the American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Plan and supporting budget will be available for public review and recommendations. The public review is scheduled for Monday, October 18, 2021 from 8 AM till 3:30 PM in the Board room at 239 Simmons Street, Trion, GA 30753
