The skating rink in Trion, Revolutions, is reopening.  Owner Joanna Thoreson told WZQZ News that the facility is going to reopen with a more “family” oriented atmosphere. Ms. Thoreson said that Revolutions will be available for families to enjoy a night of skating on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM. Also, there will be a Friday night skate for all skaters from 7 PM until 10 PM.  The Treasure Island mini-golf course will be open for families to enjoy as well.  You can read more about Revolutions reopening in a statement from Ms. Thoreson below:

Yes, we are reopening but we are doing things differently. If you want something for the families to do in Chattooga County please read, comment, share this post (very important since most people say they never see our posts ) and come check us out.

If you don’t have kids or don’t want to skate, come play mini golf. If you don’t want to do that either, bring a kid from church or how about sponsoring a foster child’s admission for a future skating party. You can message me for that.

We had planned on closing skating and reopening with a children’s inflatable/bouncy house business. I do not feel that is a good idea at this time with the corona virus. So the new plan is…..

We want to be more family friendly. We will have 2 family nights till school starts back. Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-930 . Admission is $6 for all children. $1 skate rental. We have never charged for non-skating adults but Due to space limitations, only one free adult per child. However the second adult could skate.

Also the beginners rink is reopened.

Our Treasure Island Mini is open. This is 18 holes. $3 per person. Hope you will come see this! Please keep us busy. This is a very high maintenance area. Without regular customers, this will probably be the last season.

Friday nights will be for skaters. 7-10 pm. Admission is $7 and $1 skate rental. Kids are required to wear skates. Due to space limitations, non skating kids not allowed. No child without supervision can play mini golf.

Friday Nights is for family playing mini golf. You can skate as well if you would like.

We are only scheduling private parties at this time.

We will be cleaning frequently. We will disinfecting high touch areas regularly. Plexiglass has been installed at the registers, concessions and skate checkout.

If we are busy , we can add another night.

62 years of skating! We hope to see you soon!
