The Trion Police Department announced earlier this week that they have removed speed bumps in the town.

Trion Police said, “The speed bumps on Deforest Ave and Allgood St in Trion have been removed and it is once again a four-way stop. We’re asking people to be mindful of this and stay alert. Please always exercise caution here and everywhere while driving.”

The intersection was a four-way stop in the past.  During the administration of former Trion Mayor Larry Stansell, the speed bumps were installed.
