A Trion teenager was arrested after assaulting her sister over an argument about her boyfriend.

Seventeen-year-old Kayla Carter told police she just “snapped” after her sister told on her for having her boyfriend in their grandparent’s home.   Carter’s grandfather was reportedly “very upset” about the boyfriend being in his home.

Kayla Carter is accused of punching her pregnant sister and dragging her by her hair, according to Trion Police reports.

Carter was jailed on simple battery charges and booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
