After traveling five hours and 280 miles, the Trion Bulldogs find themselves in a Dawg fight against the ECI Bulldogs. After taking the opening kickoff, ECI drove the field and scored to take a 7 to 0 lead over Trion. But Trion responded by moving the ball down the field and answered with a field goal to cut the lead to 7-3, ECI. ECI stalled on their next drive as the Trion defense stiffened. Trion took the ball down the field and scored through the air taking a 10-7 lead. The Trion lead was short-lived as ECI raced down the field and scored with only 10 seconds or so remaining. The score at the half was ECI 14, Trion 10. 

Trion received the opening kickoff of the second half, but they stalled and had to punt to ECI. ECI took the next play 80 yards and stretched the score to 21-10. Trion would mount another drive but see it stopped as well. ECI scored again to cap the game at 27-10 (the extra point was blocked). Trion completes the season with a 9-3 record, flipping their record from last year.
