A Trion woman was arrested in Floyd County on Friday evening and is accused of stealing clothing from a retail store along with violating her parole.

Thirty-five year old Angela Kay Nichols of Trion was arrested after she was accused of stealing over $400 worth of clothing from Belks in Rome.  Floyd County arrest reports indicated that she was charged with theft by shoplifting and was also held on charges of violating her parole.

Nichols remained in the Floyd County Jail as of yesterday.
