Thursday was a very long day for Trion Wrestling Josh Brock and his All Star coaching crew again challenged the Trion Bulldog wrestlers  by entering them in a tough tournament.

There were GHSA top-ranked teams and plenty of state champions and state placers in the gym competing in the Rockmart Invitational.
Trion once again stepped up and showed they were capable of competing with the top teams. Trion placed 1st as a team in the traditional tournament with Rockmart placing 2nd and Dade County 3rd.
Trion also had 5 wrestlers leave as tournament Champions:

Gus Hames- 1st
Toby Maddux- 1st
Logan Eller- 1st
Brantley Willbanks- 1st
Trion Wrestling is in Calhoun today for a New Years Eve Dual Tournament
