The Trion Bulldogs dominated the field on Saturday night at Sam R. McCain Stadium as the Bulldogs plowed through the Social Circle Rebels to win the first round of playoff action with a final score of 55-21.

Rob Brown, who was named the Georgia High School Football Daily’s state player of the week recently, rushed 443 yards on 45 carries during Saturday’s contest.  Brown also had a 35-yard touchdown run to put the first points on the board for Trion.  The next scoring play came when Brown received a 41-yard pass from Kade Smith.  Brown also had a 24-yard score and Kade Smith threw Nathan Willingham an 18-yard pass just before half-time to bring the score to 28-14.  Rob Brown later scored on runs of 24 and 45 yards. Smith added a third touchdown pass to Brody Brown for the Bulldogs.

The Trion Bulldogs will be on the road for the next round of playoff action.  They will be traveling to Abbeville, Georgia to take on Wilcox County.  It will be a about a four-hour trip for the Bulldogs this coming Friday.
