
Two men were arrested by the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force and Summerville Police on Thursday of last week at a Ramey Street, Summerville address.
According to a report from the Summerville Police Department, drug task force agents and police responded in response to drug activity at the house. When officers arrived and spoke with the occupants of the residence, the occupants consented to a search of the house. Inside, officers found firearms and two glass pipes with suspected methamphetamine. Both men at the residence were convicted felons.
Forty-four-year-old Kurtis Chadwick Watkins and thirty-year-old Coy Randall Womack were taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act for possession of methamphetamine.
Womack was additionally charged with a parole violation.
