Two Rome men were arrested on Christmas Day for 1st-degree burglary and criminal trespass.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
41-year-old Robert Shane Cochran and 29-year-old Jesse Alan Eaves were in a vehicle that was seen turning onto Berry College property on Martha Berry Highway.
The two were then observed attempting to load up a stove, valued at $600.
While being booked at the jail, Eaves was found with a small bag of methamphetamine and was additionally charged with possession of meth and possession of items prohibited for inmates.
