Rome police have charged two men with possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 20-year old Ali Mohammed Pirani, of a Chesney Drive address in Rome, and 19-year old Devin Jon Malik Ervin o North Division Street were arrested at the intersection of John Davenport Drive and Fortune Street late Friday.

Both men are also charged with possession of drug-related objects.
