
Two Chattooga County residents have been arrested in neighboring Gordon County over the past week on separate and unrelated charges.
According to docket records from the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office, thirty-eight-year-old Holbert Sutphin Haney was arrested on a warrant. A bench warrant was issued for Haney after he was accused of entering an automobile with the intent to commit theft.
Also arrested was Coy Randall Womack of Trion. Womack is accused of identity fraud in Gordon County and was incarcerated to stand trial on the charges.
Both Chattooga County men were arrested by Gordon County deputies, according to docket records.
