A woman whose address is listed as Cohutta but works in Summerville reported an unusual form of harassment to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Office. On Thursday the woman said she left work to go to lunch with her mom and when she returned to the Highway 27 business she found that several items had been left on her vehicle attached to balloons. It apparently wasn't her birthday. She said similar incidents have occurred over the last few months however, they are becoming more frequent and it's beginning to worry her. Left on her car attached to balloons was: a multi-color dress, two packs of Cracker Jacks, jacks, a letter, a card and a jack’s playing card. The incident was turned over to Chattooga County Sheriff's Department investigators.
