From Trion City Schools:

In an effort to continue to serve the students of Trion City Schools, educators, parents and students have joined together and formed a way forward during one of the most trying times in our nation’s history.

Teachers have been hard at work providing lessons via online platforms, the maintenance staff has worked on checking off their to-do lists, administrators have met to develop plans for the system’s future, and students have adjusted to learning in a new and challenging setting.

Trion’s nutrition staff members have also refused to let this change derail their mission. They pack lunches that are available for pick up at Trion Elementary School to ensure their students have a healthy foundation for learning.

Families who wish to pick up meals can do so at Trion Elementary School on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. By making sure the nutritional needs of the Bulldogs are met, Trion hopes to provide as many of the services they offer to their students as possible.

Trion City Schools recognizes the hard work of its educators, staff members, students and the community they serve, and the system is committed to taking appropriate steps to help ease the impact during this difficult time.

Trion City Schools is blessed through the contributions made by every member of our Bulldog family, from those who change a flickering light bulb in a classroom and rake the red clay of the ball field, to the men and women who stay up late at night wrestling with a decision that could change the course of the school year. We want to acknowledge that all are important to the success of Trion’s students and celebrate the way our community comes together in a time of uncertainty.

Thank you to our community and our team for helping us to stay Bulldog strong.
