A Trion woman told Chattooga County Sheriff's Deputies she let a woman borrow her car on February 1 and she hasn't seen it since.
According to the report, Marilyn Dodd of a Oak Hill, Trion Address, told officers that she let the woman borrow her Ford Explorer to pick her grandchildren up at school. She said the woman was supposed to return it as soon as she was finished. Dodd said she hasn't been in contact with the woman since she borrowed the vehicle. She also said that she noticed a Verizon cell phone, a miscellaneous set of keys and approximately $240 in cash missing during the same time frame as the vehicle. The woman was advised of Magistrate Court procedures. E-911 was requested to be on the lookout for the vehicle.
