A Chattooga County Sheriff’s deputy was alerted about a strange vehicle last Thursday on Brooks Road in Summerville. A nearby resident had spotted the Ford Mustang was located, about fifty yards off the roadway. The windows were all down on the car and the tires and wheels had been taken off. Also, the vehicle had been spray-painted green. The deputy reported that he could tell the original color of the Mustang was black. The vehicle registration revealed that the car had been reported stolen in Floyd County, but was registered to a Summerville resident. The incident was turned over to an investigator with the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.
