Chattooga County Veterans gathered at the courthouse in Summerville on Friday to have a time of food and fellowship before having a group picture taken in front of the Chattooga County Courthouse.  The event was organized by local veterans advocates Odell Anderson and former State Representative Barbara Reece.  Ms. Anderson and Ms. Reece will be honored as the grand marshals of the 2023 Summerville Christmas Parade in December. Today is Veterans Day and WZQZ Radio wants to say “Thank You” for your service to all the veterans who have given so much so that we can all be free.  If you see a veteran today, be sure to thank them for their services.
