Local veterans advocates Odell Anderson and Barbara Massey Reece, along with Chattooga County Probate Judge Gary Woods will be hosting a meal on Veterans Day for all veterans in the Chattooga County area.

All veterans are invited to an informal appreciation lunch on Veterans Day Friday, November 11, 2022 at noon.  The luncheon will be held in the main corridor of the historic Chattooga County Courthouse.

The event is planned to show appreciation to all our veterans and provide time for visiting with fellow veterans. There will be no formal program or speakers.  Veterans are asked to stay after the meal so a formal photograph of the group can be made on the courthouse steps in front of the large American flag.
