The Summerville Victorian Christmas walking tour is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon in downtown Summerville. There are Victorian Christmas displays covering a wide range of themes from the Victorian era in the windows of shops in down-town Summerville. Jan Morris with the Victorian Christmas Committee spoke with AM 1180 about the displays saying that the historical displays with life-size figures. Local artists and volunteers work together to portray historic Christmas events from the Victorian Era. Twenty different displays are in downtown Summerville with a wide-range of historical figures. A new feature this year is the Helen Keller Display for those that are visually impaired. Marsha Farrow told AM 1180 that the Helen Keller will be hands on interactive display that the visually impaired can touch. The Helen Keller Display will be at the Chattooga County Civic Center. The Summerville Victorian Christmas walking tour will be this Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and will feature live narration.
