Waffle House in Summerville opened on Monday morning.  The crowd was steady, but patrons said that they were able to get seated and served quickly and said that the staff was efficient.  Other than a brief problem with credit card processing, things went smoothly for the first day.

Leroy Massey Elementary School first-grade student Elena Young was the very first customer at the new Summerville Waffle House.  The school posted on social media on Monday, “Elena is a Waffle House connoisseur and she gave the new location two thumbs up”.

At noon yesterday, Summerville Main Street and the Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon cutting at the new restaurant
