AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio has learned of an elderly man who drowned in southern Walker County near the Chattooga County line yesterday evening.  Early reports from the Walker County Sheriff’s department that the man drowned in a pond were incorrect.   According to the family the man, who was identified as Ed Warren, was found unresponsive in a swimming pool.  He was taken to a Floyd County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Funeral arrangements for Mr. Warren will be announced later.
