A man who was involved in a road rage incident back in March of this year in Walker County has now been indicted for murder.

Forty-four-year-old Jeremy Dewayne McCrary of Chickamauga has been indicted on five felony county in connection with the death of Danny Claire on March 22nd.  The incident happened in the parking lot of a Dollar General Store on Garrett’s Chapel Road.  Reports from the Walker County Sheriff’s Office say that the two men had a confrontation in the parking lot after an aggressive driving incident.

Walker County Sheriff’s investigators say that McCrary fired one shot from a handgun that took the life of Claire.

McCrary is charged with malice murder, felony murder, voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
