An eighteen-year-old Walker County man was arrested this week on rape charges.

WQCH in LaFayette is reporting that Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson said that Teddy Alan Owenby was arrested by the Walker County Sheriff’s Office in connection with an alleged rape that happened in the Fall of 2021 in Walker County.  The victim recently disclosed the incident to her family and law enforcement.

Owenby was arrested on Tuesday of this week and was being held without bond pending a hearing in Walker County Superior Court.
