The Veterans Memorial in Walker County close to the Tennessee State Line in Chattanooga will cost $25,000 for Rossville officials to repair. The memorial was destroyed during a high speed chase involving a teenager and a stolen truck on June 22.  Rossville officials say that they were in the process of beautification of the area and that the destruction of the fountain will be a blow to the budget to repair.
