A Georgia Prison warden was stabbed by an inmate on Wednesday of last week. The Georgia Department of Corrections has not released the name of the inmate who will be facing charges. Andrew McFarlane, the warden at Telfair State Prison, was not seriously injured according to a spokesperson with the Department of Corrections. He was treated and released at the prison’s medical facility. The Department of Corrections did not indicate how many times the warden was stabbed or if there were other prisoners involved in the disturbance at the close security prison.
