Flooding in downtown Summerville has affected the Judge Jon Payne Courthouse Annex behind the main courthouse. It is not known how much water has entered the building. County workers have cut the power to the building to avoid any electrical issues. WZQZ will have more information on the extent of any damage to the building. Tomorrow is a Federal holiday, so the building would have been closed on Monday, Labor Day.
