Temps will increase slightly over the next few days, but it will still be chilly outside.

Most of Chattooga County saw only snow flurries over Christmas Eve and it doesn’t look like we will be seeing them again anytime soon.

Per the National Weather Service, in the East, lingering effects from a powerful cold front will continue producing heavy rain and flooding, heavy lake effect snow, and strong winds in the Northeast. Cold wintry temps behind this strong front extend into Florida.

For Chattooga County we are looking at highs mostly in the 40s with clear days ahead. Wednesday and Thursday we will see a 50% chance for showers. New Years Eve is going to be clear and cool.
