Lightning, wind and rain rolled through Chattooga County on Friday evening causing multiple downed trees and power lines. Hundreds of people were without power from Trion to Summerville to Lyerly to Subligna.  As of 4 AM, the following locations were still without power:

Georgia Power Outages:

Trion: Spring Creek Road – Butler Dairy Road – Penn Bridge Road (105)

Lyerly: Back Valley, Sardis Baptist Church, Ragland Road, Spraggins Hill Road, Oak Hill Road (Near Lyerly School) (71)

Summerville – Berryton: Chisolm Trail, Fabrick Shack, Highway 100, Norton Road, Ridgewood Circle, Summerville Middle School, Marble Springs Road (42), East Penn Street, College Street, East Washington Street (69)

West Summerville (Snuffyville) – Roberts Street, Back Berryton, Alexander Street (142)

North Georgia EMC Outages:

Highway 100 – Holland (Near the Old Holland Store)

Gore-Subligna Road

Both utility companies have crews working to restore power.
