A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 AM EST MONDAY. THE AREA IS GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM SUMMERVILLE TO JASPER TO DAWSONVILLE TO CLEVELAND.

AN ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL SURGE ACROSS THE AREA WITH FALLING TEMPERATURES DURING THE DAY TODAY. AS AN UPPER TROUGH MOVES ACROSS THE AREA LATE TODAY AND TONIGHT… LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED OVER THE ADVISORY AREA. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO 1 INCH CAN BE EXPECTED WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS TO 2 INCHES. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE TEENS TO LOWER 20S WITH WIND CHILLS GETTING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE ZERO.
