A local woman was arrested after the vehicle she was driving nearly collided into a police vehicle on January 6.  Just after 10:30 that night Deputy John Changler reported that he was driving up Dry Valley Road when a red Mercury sedan came close to running into the left front side of his patrol vehicle. He stopped 19-year-old Kristin Jade Wilson who told the officer she had no reason to be driving outside her lane. She also said she didn't have a valid driver's license and only had an instructional permit that expired in July of 2011. Wilson was arrested and taken to the Chattooga County Jail.
