A thirty-seven-year-old Chattooga County woman was arrested earlier this month after a traffic stop in Lyerly.   According to a report released this week by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies spotted a vehicle that they believed was owned by someone with an active felony warrant.  Deputies stopped the vehicle on Lyerly Dam Road and spoke with the driver.  The driver of the vehicle was not the person deputies were looking for, but immediately admitted to deputies that her license was suspended and that she had a small amount of marijuana on her person.  The woman told deputies that she had recently purchased the car from the woman that they were looking for.  Kandice Adair Trammel was arrested and charged with driving on suspended or revoked license and marijuana possession.
