Cherokee County, Alabama law enforcement officials were involved in a high-speed chase involving a female driver in a GMC truck outfitted with Arkansas plates Thursday morning.

The pursuit began just after 8:00am, and was over by 8:20, when the driver was stopped on Highway 411 north heading toward Floyd County, Georgia.
