A woman who was arrested recently after telling a deputy that she needed to “go to the moon”, was arrested again after her parent’s called 911 about their daughter beating on their door with a metal pipe before 7 o’clock in the morning.
When deputies arrived on the scene at the parent’s house in the Gore area, they found Jillian Durgin still at her parent’s house, in the backyard. Deputies said that the woman was “screaming and yelling” and they attempted to handcuff her. Durgin fought with deputies until they wrestled her to the ground and forcibly handcuffed her.
The parents said that Durgin has mental issues and also they suspected drug use.
Durgin was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct and willful obstruction of law enforcement and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on Thursday of last week.
