A Cooper Road, Summerville woman was arrested by Summerville City Police on Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol.  According to a report released Monday by the police department, a “Be On The Lookout” was issued for a vehicle that was swerving in the roadway.  Officers stopped twenty-six-year-old Brianna Taylor Mullican on Commerce Street and could see immediately that she was under the influence of alcohol.  Mullican admitted to drinking “two hours” prior to driving.  However, officers found an open bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey under the driver’s seat of the vehicle.  Mullican was charged with DUI and having an open container of alcohol and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
